The project was implemented between 20/09/2020 and 30/11/2020. Sixteen-bathroom blocks across 10 schools were rehabilitated, benefiting more than 4,818 students in the western and eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
The maintenance included:
- Rehabilitating water, sewage, and electrical networks, replacing wall and floor tiles, and installing new wooden and metal doors for the blocks. Additionally, 2,000-liter water tanks were installed, and the blocks were painted both inside and outside, with roof insulation using a special material to prevent moisture and water leakage.
