Taziz Initiative (Euphrates Dialogues)
The project was implemented between 27/03/2024 and 15/12/2023. It involved collaboration with 12 civil society organizations in Deir ez-Zor in focused dialogue sessions with the local community to develop and strengthen community participation. The dialogue sessions addressed key topics such as essential services, governance, tribal systems, social conditions, and political situation.
A total of 40 sessions were conducted, resulting in recommendations, proposals, and solutions aimed at achieving participatory management between the local community and the administration.

Our Security Project
The project was implemented between 15/10/2022 and 15/05/2023. It included conducting 7 discussion sessions in the Al-Jazrat area, involving representatives from the internal committee and individuals from various segments of the local community. During these sessions, several topics related to stability and security were discussed. As an outcome of these sessions, a small project was proposed to enhance security and stability. This project involved lighting up 420 meters of the main street connecting Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor in Al-Jazrat by installing 200-watt streetlights and connecting them to the service line.

Project for Enhancing Marketing Skills and Improving Service Delivery through Vocational Training in Hajin
The project was implemented between 10/01/2021 and 10/04/2021. It targeted 20 young men and 10 women from the Hajin area and surrounding regions, focusing on training in:
1- Electrical Maintenance
- HVAC and home appliance repair and maintenance
- Mobile phone repair
The training included 10 men trained in home electrical installations, 10 men trained in home maintenance (air conditioning and refrigeration), and 10 women trained in mobile phone repair. Each beneficiary received 44 theoretical and practical training sessions, with each session lasting 4 hours a day. At the end of the training, beneficiaries received a toolkit to help them practice the profession and enter the job market.

Youth Center Project in Hajin City
The project was implemented from 13/07/2020 to 31/10/2020. It involved the participation of 200 young people, divided into 3 groups, with each group engaging in a series of interconnected activities chosen based on the needs of the local community.

- Life skills
- Volunteering activities, enabling the youth to contribute to community service

Project to Support Displaced Persons through Vocational Training in Abu Khashab Camp
The project was implemented from 10/06/2020 to 25/10/2020. Beneficiaries participated in 25 training sessions, which equipped them with the necessary skills to enter the job market. Vocational materials were distributed to the beneficiaries, including sewing and stitching machines, engineering kits for those in women’s tailoring, as well as toolboxes and a multimeter device for those in home maintenance and refrigeration.

Abu Al-Hassan Water Network Rehabilitation
The project was implemented between 01/01/2023 and 15/02/2023.
The project benefited 4,500 people.
It involved the installation of polyethylene pipes suitable for drinking water, with a diameter of 6 inches and a length of 2,050 meters, and a diameter of 2.5 inches and a length of 1,250 meters. The project also included the installation of valves with different diameters (8 inches, 6 inches, 4 inches, 3 inches, and 2.5 inches) to control water flow in the pipes.

Debris Removal Project in the Western and Eastern Countryside of Deir ez-Zor:
The project was implemented from 15/08/2019 to 13/12/2019.
It involved removing rubble and debris from the walls of 32 schools and cleaning the sites, as well as removing 5 destroyed water tanks. The debris was transported and used to fill potholes, with a total of 4,500 cubic meters of debris removed and approximately 35,850 kilograms of iron extracted.

Debris Removal in the Eastern Countryside of Deir ez-Zor
The project was implemented from 01/08/2018 to 20/10/2018.
The project directly benefited 1,700 people.
The project involved demolishing and removing debris from buildings that were at risk of collapse and damaged due to the war in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, specifically in the areas of Al-Shuhail, Al-Hawaij, Darnaj, Al-Zer, Al-Attal, Thiban, and Al-Takihi.
Project activities included:
- The removal of 61 buildings.
- The area of the demolished buildings was 5,526 square meters, and the volume of debris removed was 8,250 cubic meters.
- A total of 51 murals were completed, featuring messages on topics such as “environmental conservation, promoting cleanliness, water conservation, children’s rights, peace advocacy, and natural landscapes.” An accompanying activity involved painting walls and curbs in the main roundabouts of some targeted areas.
- The total area of the murals was 679 square meters, while the area of walls and curbs painted was 3,012 square meters.
- Filling potholes and cleaning roads surrounding work sites, as well as main roads and roundabouts, covering an area of 6,215 square meters.

Project for Rehabilitating Open Agricultural Drains in Hajin
The project was implemented between 20/06/2022 and 31/08/2022.
The project benefited 50,000 people, and the water level was lowered on 10,000 dunams of land.
The work included cleaning 5 main drains in Hajin, with a total length of 27 kilometers, as well as installing 2 culverts on main roads, 13 culverts on secondary roads, and 41 culverts for homes, in addition to maintaining 2 main road culverts and cleaning 29 culverts.

Project for Developing Off-Season Vegetable Farming through Agricultural Tunnels
The project was implemented between 01/01/2022 and 20/02/2022. It targeted 40 beneficiaries who are vegetable farmers using agricultural tunnels and involved the cultivation of 1,600 tunnels with cucumbers and zucchini in AL Hawaij village.
The project included plowing 80 dunams of land, extending drip irrigation networks, planting seeds in the tunnels, covering the tunnels with two layers of agricultural nylon to protect them from frost, and distributing a package of fertilizers and insecticides, which included high-phosphorus fertilizer, high-nitrogen fertilizer, balanced fertilizer, Previcur insecticide, Humic acid, and manual sprayers.
